St. Mary's cathedral

so worth getting up at 8am on a sunday

Australia is a pretty secular and the closest Catholic Church to my dorm is a 35 min walk. So this morning I decided to take a bus into the city to go to mass at St. Mary's Cathedral. I woke up at 8am and took a 9.30 bus into Sydney, I arrived in Sydney at 10.15 and after a 10 min walk I found my way to the cathedral :)

It was magnificent outside, the architecture truly was breathtaking. The inside was even more gorgeous. The service was a Solemn Sung mass; the boys choir did a remarkable job.
I found myself in awe during the service multiple times. I think I'll make the trip to the cathedral once a month.

Next week I'm going to walk to the church that's 35 min away. Hopefully that will become my regular church.

also, there was a tsunami warning and I was warned to stay inland but instead I chose to go into the city which is on the water. I'm smart.
